AM Hack
What happened
On March 12, 2026, AM on BNB Chain suffered a burn/reserve-manipulation exploit. The canonical $131,572 figure represents realized attacker profit; the total pool-loss basis is not separately confirmed in the cited analysis.
AM’s burn path changed token balances and AMM reserves without preserving the invariant used for pricing and redemption. The attacker could therefore trigger reserve deflation and withdraw more value than the manipulated state supported.
How it happened
The attacker manipulated AM’s burn and reserve accounting, then used the resulting reserve imbalance to extract USDT in the exploit transaction.
