Electrum Wallet Phishing Attack Leads to Loss of 243.6 BTC
A malicious actor created a fake version of the Electrum wallet, tricking users into providing their password information. The attacker managed to steal nearly 250 bitcoins (243.6 BTC, approximately $1 million). Electrum confirmed the phishing attack and reminded users to only download Electrum from the official website.
