What happened

On April 16, 2026, Grinex halted withdrawals and trading after reporting a large-scale cyberattack against its wallet infrastructure. Blockchain analytics firm Elliptic reported that approximately $15 million in USDT was drained from Grinex-linked wallets, then routed through Tron and Ethereum and converted to TRX and ETH.
