OracleBNB Hack
What happened
On October 10, 2025, OracleBNB executed a classic exit scam on BNB Chain, causing the $ORACLE token to plummet over 90% within minutes after large sell transactions were executed. The project immediately deleted all social media accounts and community channels following the rugpull, leaving investors with worthless tokens.
OracleBNB presented itself as a blockchain-based oracle solution on the BNB ecosystem, building hype that drove the token price to a peak of $0.000326. The rugpull followed a classic pattern: intense early buy pressure created liquidity, followed by coordinated large sell transactions that drained the pool. Within minutes, the token crashed from its peak to $0.0001459, a drop exceeding 95%.
Immediately after the liquidity drain, the project's team deleted all digital footprints including the official Twitter account (@oraclebnb) and all community channels, without providing any warnings, announcements, or justifications. This was a deliberate exit scam rather than a technical failure, exploiting renewed speculative interest in the BNB Chain during a period of rising prices and increased retail attention.
