What happened
On March 5, 2026, a limited exploit affected one non-public, one-time Solv BRO (Bitcoin Reserve Offering) vault. The incident removed 38.0474 SolvBTC, valued at about $2.7 million at the time. Solv later stated that affected participants had been fully compensated; this is not presented as recovery of the stolen assets.

Attack Timeline
Contemporaneous security reporting attributed the loss to repeated double minting in the affected BRO vault: 135 BRO was inflated to 567 million BRO through 22 iterations before the inflated balance was exchanged for about 38 SolvBTC. Solv says the deployment was separate from its core and public products.
