Hyperliquid Malaysia Community Treasury Theft

Loss amount unknown Not disclosed
Solana
Wallet Compromise (entry point unconfirmed)

What happened

Hyperliquid Malaysia organizer JoJo reported that the community treasury was drained after its fifth meetup. This report concerns an independent community wallet, not a demonstrated exploit of the Hyperliquid trading protocol. The loss amount is unknown.

Technical root cause

Community wallet access was reportedly compromised. The entry point is unconfirmed; no smart-contract vulnerability is established by the organizer report.

How it happened

In the organizer statement reproduced by a public X mirror, JoJo reported losing the community treasury and said a laptop used at the event had sometimes been out of sight. That observation does not establish how wallet access was obtained. A later post identified a Solana destination, but the reviewed evidence does not establish a complete transaction ledger or a verified USD loss.
