What happened

Panther’s Base deployment was affected by a governance attack on August 6, 2026. A published researcher reconstruction describes approximately 5.12 million ZKP and 0.12 ETH removed. Reporting attributes to a Panther contributor that the deployment was not yet in production and no user funds were compromised.

A reliable realized dollar loss has not been established.
